Black Gator Honey started as a simple piece of land in Bayview, Texas and a dream to create something peaceful. On the property, there are black alligators that quietly wander the wetlands. At the same time, we began keeping bees producing local honey straight from the wildflowers around us. The combination felt too perfect to ignore.

Black Gator Honey became our name — a mix of nature, adventure, and something a little unexpected. Now, we’re turning the land into a small glamping retreat — cozy cabins, quiet nights, and the kind of place where you can slow down, breathe, and feel like you’re away from everything.
